Tristan Bultman

Founder & Managing Partner

A seasoned art advisor, Tristan brings a unique blend of aesthetic discernment and financial acumen to his role. His journey in the art world began in galleries and artists’ estates, where he honed his relationship-building skills and established his core principles of service, trust, integrity, and transparency. This experience inspired him to transition to the role of an art advisor, representing clients in the art market, helping them build and maintain art collections.

Over the past 15 years, Tristan has collaborated with private collections, institutions, public art spaces, and museums to curate and maintain robust art collections. His keen eye and understanding of value have enabled him to make significant acquisitions and generate substantial value for his clients.

Tristan’s deep-rooted connection to the arts traces back to his childhood. His grandfather, Fritz Bultman, a prominent Abstract Expressionist and founding member of the New York School, instilled in him the importance of arts and patronage. This upbringing has given Tristan a unique perspective on the art world, the value of art, and its multigenerational benefits.

Complementing his artistic expertise, Tristan holds a degree in Finance & Investments from Northeastern University. He also brings valuable experience from Wall Street, where he managed investments and wealth. This background has equipped him with a profound understanding of evaluating investments, discerning value and growth potential, and balancing them within an overall wealth management strategy.

In 2012, Tristan made a strategic career shift from investment banking to the art world. This transition allowed him to merge his aesthetic taste with his investment acumen. Known for his hard work, leadership skills, reliability, and discretion, Tristan continues to serve his clients with utmost dedication and professionalism. Tristan is now working to bring these core principles to an expanded art advisory firm that serves a large base of ultra-high network families who are new to or just starting out in the art market and collecting.
